An Academic Approach to Improving Healthcare

Our health system is committed to excellence in patient care, and a key component of that is through medical education. Graduate Medical Education Across Our Health System

Our Lady of the Angels Hospital

In Bogalusa, we partner with LSU to provide a teaching site for its Rural Residency Program. It’s the only one of its kind in the state, training family medicine physicians and providing much-needed health access to a rural community.

Our Lady of the Lake

In Greater Baton Rouge, we serve as a clinical teaching site for 21 programs including Louisiana State University School of Medicine and Tulane University School of Medicine and cover nearly all specialties and subspecialties of medicine.

St. Dominic

In Greater Jackson, we’re training tomorrow’s top pharmacists with post-graduate education to develop clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients for a wide range of conditions.

St. Francis

In Northeast Louisiana, we’re growing our undergraduate and graduate medical education programs with a 7,000-square-foot renovation to our Academic Affairs Suite and recruiting for our first classes in the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
