At Our Lady of the Lake Children's Health Weight & Nutrition, patients meet with a pediatrician certified in pediatric obesity medicine, a dietitian and other specialists as needed. Children receive specialized care as we help them develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Our team is helping shape the future of healthcare through education. In partnership with the American College of Culinary Medicine and the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society, our Weight & Nutrition Center helped launch the first culinary medicine elective for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health pediatric residents. The hands-on experience blends healthcare and cooking to help families turn everyday ingredients into healthful meals.
